With so many components needed to successfully plan, launch, and run a radio station, we’re seeking creative talent and levels of commitments of all shapes and sizes to help get this project off the ground!

Radio Free Montclair needs you!
If you’d like to get involved in this unique experiment in community-driven radio at the ground floor, we welcome your enthusiasm, curiosity, and belief that there is deep human value to bringing the beautifully varied voices and stories of our community to life!
We’ll open up the call for DJs, talk show hosts, and proposals for on-air content at a later date, but at this point, our greatest need is for volunteers to help with more of the critical “behind-the-scenes” technical, promotional, and logistical aspects of what enable a radio station to run successfully.
For example, we’re looking for people to help with things like fundraising, publicity, outreach, graphic design, event planning, and legal support. Essentially, if you’re passionate about our vision, then there’s a role for you!
